And we called it "Art"

Brynn and I are busy creating some canvas art projects ...

... prototypes of what she plans to make with her friends at her upcoming birthday party.

We don't have a final product to share with you yet, but I'm reminded of the last canvas art project we tackled a few years back:

Probably a bit of a stretch to call this art.  But I proudly display their creative expressions in my bonus room.

They obviously had a great time with this project.

I, however, was a nervous wreck.

Just try cutting your kids loose with a couple buckets of paint, some brushes, and some sponges ... outside your BRAND NEW HOUSE. 

Try it and see how your nerves fare!!!

They've been begging to do more - and I've been holding them off for 3 years now.  Supressing their imagination, innovativeness, and artistry.  But I do need some more affordable art pieces...
