Love Thy Neighbor - just go ahead and put a great big check mark next to that one for me ... because I absolutely adore my neighbors!
I'd have to say the thing I love about them the most is their unpretentious nature. They are just presently simple and kind hearted beings.
Though they must have made someone angry because I had a guest in my home once that said he would shoot them right then and there if he only had a gun.
Today, I stalked them with my camera while they took a morning walk with their little family. I couldn't resist snapping a few pics of them as they sauntered along together enjoying the beauty of this fine fall day.
They definitely noticed my intrusion into their private moment ... did I push it too far?
I'll post the photos and let you decide.
What's the rule of etiquette here?
P.S. Jolien always wanted to "catch" one of these fine animals and keep it for her pet. I'm not sure they'd agree to be our neighbors any more if we tied them up ... or made them sleep in the garage...but I think she planned on letting her "catch" sleep in her room - on the foot of the bed :-)
I think I'll buy them a salt lick for Christmas ... then maybe they'll love me back.
