I always enjoy the changing of the seasons ... but winter is often a little too drawn out for my tastes. We have a warm weekend ahead of us with temps forecasted to approach the 60s (time to get some yard work done... and taxes... and laundry... my, how I digress) but then we're looking at snow showers again on Monday night. The kids love it...they've been out of school again this week due to light snow showers on Wednesday but these swings in temperature seem to take a toll on one's immune system (at least it's good for business - for those of us in the healthcare industry...sorry - that was somewhat MORBID) ;-)
So, I'm counting down the days till spring and thought I'd share a few photos from summers of our recent past ... since I didn't start blogging and sharing photos until last fall (seriously - my family can confirm - the Christmas card was the only photo ever sent out by this household).
Hope these bring warmth to your heart during this frigid cold season...

Princess Annika
(if you've seen Barbie and the Magic Pegasus
then you'll know that Annika is a PRINCESS -
and NO, that is NOT where we got her name!)...

Torby and his cousin Magnus ... showing off some BIG GUNS :-)

Torby at Tybee island (near Savannah, Georgia)

... and litte Kyra Lynn at Tybee Island...

Brynn's fabulous "girls only" POOL PARTY
(because she has a March birthday and can't
have an outdoor pool party at birthday time)!!!

Look closely and you'll see 4 little girls hiding behind that waterfall...

What's a pool party without sun-kissed fruit dipped in chocolate fondue?

Well, we did allow ONE boy ... we needed Daddy for the water noodle wars ...

What scrumptiously sweet girls :-)

... and what a scrumptiously delicious baby -
can you tell her big brother and sister are enthralled with
and enchanted by her?
Please come back soon Mr Sun -
WE MISS YOU and we want to play
beneath your golden, warm rays!!!!
