On another subject, Per could not figure out why Annika and Kyra were not hungry for their lunch today ... until he found this little setup in the pantry. Annika had stacked her stool on top of a 5 gallon bucket so she could climb up and reach the GIANT COSTCO BAG OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!! Kyra was on lookout duty below... not sure if she was on the lookout for Daddy or just on the lookout for falling chocolate morsels. This is how I know these resourceful girls would likely survive at least a week on their own ... should something happen to Per or me.
Kyra has figured out what a handy little device we have in the phone! Per says she's constantly bringing him the phone and demanding that he CALL MOMMY. Then she paces around the house as she jabbers and jabbers - telling me all about her day. I'm looking forward to the day when I can actually understand what she's saying!!!! There she is talking to me as I drove home from work ... she likes to put me on speaker phone. Her call is the best call of my day ... I hope she'll still like calling and talking to me on the phone in another 15 years.Torby - I really miss your shining face on this blog - PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let me take your photo and brag about your many talents and fine attributes!!! :-) Torby doesn't like my blogging ... he thinks I should go upstairs and work out with him in the weight room instead. I guess I better drag my lazy bones upstairs ... he's such a task master!!!
